General Meeting

Saturday 21st July, DRC Hall, from 12.30
 
We need you at your most creative!  Come to the DRC Hall after the Saturday morning market and enjoy:
 
a hot soup for just R25
a 20 minute dance show by the children and adults who have been participating in the GTT winter holiday programme featuring:

Recycle Rap
Gumboot Dance
Art Exhibition by the children of Greyton on the theme of 'Home'
            
Around 1.30,  we will hold the meeting but this will not be your usual meeting.  We are going to ask you to DREAM.  We would like you to be part of creating a vision for a Greyton of the future.  How will our village look in five year's time?  What will the houses look like?  The streets?  The people?  Will there still be cars?  Will we have pedestrian areas, or parks, or a central space that marks the focal point of our village?  We need to look at building an energy descent plan which will reduce our reliability on fossil fuels and help us to become more resilient to rising fuel and food prices.
 
We need your participation to build on all that has been achieved so far during these first early days of transition.
